About the Role

LearningSpotz is looking for a passionate Coding Tutor to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. As a Coding Tutor, you'll teach programming fundamentals, web development, and computer science concepts to students ranging from beginners to advanced learners. This flexible role offers the opportunity to tutor both online and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions
• Help students with homework, test preparation, and foundational skills
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and goals
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Coordinate schedules and maintain clear communication with families

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable internet connection for online sessions
• Located in or near Huntington Beach, CA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, encouraging, and passionate about computer science education

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $25–60/hr depending on experience and subject matter. Set your own schedule and work with students that match your expertise. Whether you prefer morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for you.
