About the Role

LearningSpotz is looking for a passionate Coding Tutor to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. As a Coding Tutor, you'll work with students ranging from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build confidence and excel in programming fundamentals, web development, Python, JavaScript, and computer science concepts. This flexible role offers the opportunity to tutor both online and in-person, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while making a meaningful impact in students' tech education journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group coding tutoring sessions
• Help students with programming assignments, projects, and foundational CS concepts
• Coordinate schedules and communicate progress with parents where applicable
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Maintain records of student progress and session notes

Qualifications

• Strong programming background in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable internet connection and ability to conduct online sessions
• Located in or near Sacramento, CA OR able to tutor online
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, encouraging, and passionate about CS education

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $60 per hour depending on experience and subject matter. Set your own schedule and work with students that match your expertise. Whether you prefer morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for you.
