About the Role

LearningSpotz is looking for a passionate Spanish Tutor to join our growing team in Bakersfield, CA. As a Spanish Tutor, you'll help students develop fluency in conversational and academic Spanish through immersive, personalized instruction. This flexible role offers the opportunity to tutor both online and in-person, making language learning engaging and effective.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions
• Help students with homework, test preparation, and skill-building exercises
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Coordinate schedules and maintain clear communication with families

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable internet connection for online sessions
• Located in or near Bakersfield, CA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, encouraging, and passionate about language education

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $22–50/hr depending on experience and subject matter. Set your own schedule and work with students that match your expertise. Whether you prefer morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for you.
