About the Role

LearningSpotz is looking for a passionate Spanish Tutor to join our growing team in San Jose, CA. As a Spanish Tutor, you'll work with students ranging from beginner to advanced levels, helping them build confidence and excel in conversational Spanish, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies. This flexible role offers the opportunity to tutor both online and in-person, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while making a meaningful impact in students' language-learning journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group Spanish tutoring sessions
• Help students with conversational practice, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding
• Coordinate schedules and communicate progress with parents where applicable
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and learning styles
• Maintain records of student progress and session notes

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Spanish fluency
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Reliable internet connection and ability to conduct online sessions
• Located in or near San Jose, CA OR able to tutor online
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, encouraging, and passionate about language education

Compensation & Schedule

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $22 to $50 per hour depending on experience and subject matter. Set your own schedule and work with students that match your expertise. Whether you prefer morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend sessions, you have the flexibility to choose what works best for you.
